Palo Verde in Bloom

The beauty of spring continues in the Valley. Here, on Camelback Road, a palo verde blooms abundantly. It's also getting hotter here, slowly transitioning to summer days of triple digit temperatures.  Let's enjoy the mild warm weather while we can.

  1. Happenstance, as usual your pictures are beautiful! The springtime in the desert seems to be an extraordinary display of fragile, delicate flowers in exquisite pastel colors, each with its own unique personality. The prickly and fearsome plants producing so many soft and tender looking blooms is a surprise and a delight! It was astonishing how much the yellow palo verde blossoms resemble white apple blossoms here. I love these pictures, they transcend chaotic daily life, and whisk you away to a place where calm and quiet bring a sense of peace and wholeness. Thank you for your art, and for your willingness to share it with us all. :)
